European Landscape Convention

CIVILSCAPE is an international association of non-governmental organisations which dedicate their work to landscape protection, management and planning, according to the “European Landscape Convention”. “Landscape” means an area whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors. The CIVILSCAPE organizations are united by their mission: to raise the awareness of people for landscape, to strengthen organisations to support implementation of the European Landscape Convention and to influence local and regional authorities.
