RĂ©seau Art Nouveau Network
www.artnouveau-net.eu
Founded in 1999 at the initiative of the Department of Historic Sites and Monuments of the Brussels-Capital Region, the RANN association gathers around 20 members such as museums or public institutions in various cities around the world with a rich Art Nouveau heritage. It intends to promote research, conservation, and proper exposure of Art Nouveau. Enterprise and commitment are the Network’s chief hallmarks; as well as championing a rigorously scientific approach, it aims to keep professionals informed and to make the general public aware of the cultural significance and European dimension of this heritage on our very own doorstep. It organised numerous activities (travelling exhibitions, symposiums, workshops, publications…) in the framework of various projects funded by the European Commission. The RANN is also part of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe since 2014.
